A couple of days back, we heard that Google is acquiring Plink-a visual search engine.Plink is a british search engine founded by Mark Cummins and James Philbin. This search engine is based on visual search which means it will allow users to submit photos to this search engine to find out the relevant data for it.
Mark Cummins and James Philbin had launched Plink two months back only and Google has acquired it now, however Google has also requested the founders for their services to carry out further development of Google Goggles, an application which allow users to take photos from their mobiles and then they can perform related searches for more information.
