Microsoft would lauch new design of MSN homepage2010-03-13

Microsoft is reportedly to float a new design for the home page of MSN, after a long time.This could happen in couple of weeks.

According to Compete,MSN.com receives approximately 85 million unique visitors per month in the US only which is quite more that AOL.com.According to Microsoft,
this redesign of their homepage would be a significant step in over a decade.

"Now is the time to clean up the mess on the Web — people need less clutter and less hassle to find what matters most to them," said Erik Jorgensen, corporate vice president, Microsoft. "Microsoft is uniquely invested in search, media experiences and technical innovation. Combining these assets to deliver our new MSN home page is a tremendous win for customers and advertisers."

In the new design of MSN homepage, there would be a significant focus to MSN local,Bing,news and social networks.
